Chrome is flagging the library's NYTimes registration page as suspicious because the URL includes the text "nytimes.com" within the library's unique authenticated URL. A common phishing technique is to use a familiar link as part of a URL that directs the user to another website in an attempt to gain personal or financial information. The library's NYTimes registration page is safe and legitimate. You can bypass the Chrome warning by simply clicking on the Ignore button (see below). You will then be directed to the registration page.
