This is a known issue with EBSCO. The suggested solution is to install the Schubert|it PDF Browser Plugin.

In some instances it may be enough to simply switch browsers when using EBSCO. Library Macs have Firefox with the Schubert|it plugin already installed. 

Another option is to choose to download and save the PDF locally, and then open the file in the computer's PDF reader. Or if you like you can email the document. Both can be done while in the EBSCO interface.
